Paradise Jet Boating Sustainability Statement:
At Paradise Jet Boating, we recognise the importance of preserving the natural beauty of the Gold Coast and are committed to minimising our environmental impact. Our team is dedicated to sustainable practices across our operations to ensure the protection of the unique marine ecosystems that we navigate every day.
We operate in the Gold Coast Broadwater and the Moreton Bay Marine Park, areas that are home to diverse marine and bird life. We take careful measures to reduce emissions, such as using modern, fuel-efficient engines and implementing regular maintenance schedules to keep our vessels in top condition.
As part of our sustainability initiatives, we’ve partnered with Reforest to help offset the emissions produced by our tours. Since starting this journey in August 2024, we’ve been planting trees every month to restore native habitat – currently planting 10 trees per month, restoring 61m² of habitat and removing 1.5 tonnes of CO2. This ongoing effort helps us contribute to a healthier planet and supports our broader commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.
As part of our tours, guests can often spot dolphins and other marine wildlife. We follow responsible wildlife viewing practices to ensure that our activities do not disturb these beautiful creatures. We educate our customers on the importance of respecting wildlife and minimising our footprint.
We strive to reduce waste by using digital ticketing and providing recycling facilities at our departure points. Our staff are trained to minimise single-use plastics and encourage our guests to do the same by limiting the items they bring on board.
Paradise Jet Boating actively supports local environmental initiatives and partners with conservation groups to promote sustainable tourism. We are proud to be a part of the Tours Group, a collection of tourism operators who share a passion for sustainable practices and preserving our natural surroundings.
